Morning, hikers! 🙂
Today, I’m talking about the best gifts for hikers. As a huge hiking and sports enthusiast, I know the importance of having the right gear. Plus, if you’re like me and have a friend or family member who’s always hitting the trails, it can be tough to know what to get them for their next adventure. So, I’ve compiled a list of must-haves for any hiker.
First things first, a good backpack. Yaas, you heard me right. A backpack that’s comfortable, has a ton of pockets, and can hold all their gear is a no-brainer. TBH, I swear by my Osprey pack. It’s my baby, my ride or die.
Next up, a good pair of hiking boots. Again, comfort is key here. But, you also want something that’s gonna protect their feet and provide good traction. Because duh, no one wants to be slipping and sliding on the trails. I personally love Salomon boots.
Now, let’s talk about hydration. A good water bottle and hydration pack are essential for any hike. I always bring my Platypus hydration pack and my trusty Nalgene water bottle. You never know when you’re gonna need that extra hydration, you know?
A good headlamp is also a must-have. Not only is it helpful for those early morning or late night hikes, but it’s also a safety feature. You never know when you might get caught in the dark. I highly recommend Black Diamond’s Spot headlamp.
Last but not least, a good hat and sunglasses. Protecting your eyes and head from the sun is important, and a good hat and sunglasses will do just that. Plus, you’ll look extra fly on the trails.
So there you have it, my top picks for the best gifts for hikers. Remember, if you’re ever stuck on what to get your hiking buddies, just stick to these basics and you can’t go wrong.
